This DEM is primarily derived from LiDAR data (where available) and photogrammetry from the 2012 to 2015 rural aerial surveys. Where neither data source was available the DEM was derived from 20m topo map contours. Horizontal and vertical accuracy for most areas is +/-0.8m (1 standard deviation) in clear open areas. Where the DEM is from photogrammetry elevations are for the visible land surface, not the ground level. For example trees will show as elevated mounds, since the DEM will present the tops of the trees. Data is provided “as-is” without warranty of accuracy or suitability of use”.
